Westmont aims to cultivate awareness of multicultural identity and ethnic diversity, integrating these values into all areas of campus life. This commitment is reflected through programs like Intercultural Programs (ICP), the Faculty-Staff Diversity Network (FSDN), and support for first-generation students.
Westmont’s Conditional Use Permit with the City of Santa Barbara limits Montecito campus enrollment to 1,200, restricting physical growth and increasing reliance on tuition revenue. However, the college has expanded in other ways—such as through its new Nursing program.

This graph is included to combat the notion that the college is "drowning" in debt. For comparison, Wheaton College reported $182 million in revenue and $190 million in liabilities last year. Biola University reported $224 million in revenue and $136 million in liabilities. According to Doug Jones, VP of Finance we use debt strategically and the college is financially sound.

General and Admin includes departments that serve the whole college such as fundraising activities, the post office and the business office. Auxiliaries means things like dining services, summer conferences, housing, and residence life. Student services are departments such as the records office, admissions, athletics, and the shuttle. The Other category is used to make debt payment and improvements around campus.
